Sunshine, also by Jarrett J. Krosoczka, won a 2023 Audiofile Earphones Award.
This book is one of the most beautiful things I've ever read in my life. It had me ugly-cry sobbing during my first read, but also smiling through to the end. Haven't read a graphic novel before? Read this one. It is truly a masterpiece. |

A Home for Goddesses and Dogs by Leslie Connor won a 2020 Audiofile Earphones Award.
This book was very inspiring. So much so that I created my own Goddess from magazine clippings and mixed media, and it still hangs in my studio as a reminder of how special this book is to me. |

"Narrator Patricia Santomasso takes us to Italy in the 1960s... Santomasso gives each new character an authentic voice and accent...she's especially strong as the rift between Gabriella and Silvia's mother reveals long buried secrets. Original characters, romance, mysterious noises in a spooky old castle, all read with enthusiasm and intelligence, make this entertaining listening."

*Starred Review*
"Enhanced by the skillful work of narrator Patricia Santomasso, every aspect of this story maximizes tension and terror. When Santomasso speaks as Kit, her breathy whisper might be because Kit is either being strangled by her own anxiety or, perhaps, it’s Daphne’s bare hands." - James Gardner |
“Santomasso’s vocal qualities align seamlessly with the shifting alliances and intricately plotted tale. The clear differentiation between characters of various ages adds descriptive depth and suspense. Santomasso’s lush cadence brings clarity to a complex, action-packed, expansive fantasy environment. Hassan’s world-building story is perfect for middle-grade listeners and adults alike. A sure bet for fans of Xiran Jay Zhao, Roshani Chokshi, and Rick Riordan.” - Booklist, August 2022
"Told from a vast cast of characters, this dystopia explores the cost of perfectionism and performative identities. The audiobook narrated by Patricia Santomasso and André Santana expertly gives voice to the large cast." —Margaret Kingsbury - Buzzfeed Books
