I loved giving voice to Vivian Bookwormer, (who you can see glaring there on the far left) and helping to bring another fabulous graphic novel to life through audio!

Sunshine is one of the most beautiful things I've ever read in my life. It had me ugly-cry sobbing during my first read, but also smiling through to the end. Haven't read a graphic novel before? Read this one. It is truly a masterpiece.

This book was very inspiring. So much so that I created my own Goddess from magazine clippings and mixed media, and it still hangs in my studio as a reminder of how special this book is to me.

In this satisfying thriller, Casey, voiced with nuanced flair by Patricia Santomasso, must negotiate the late night arrival of a bloody knife-wielding girl without being able to call for help due to a vicious storm.
...Santomasso's sardonic undertone enhances Casey's believability as a loner whose childhood trauma has made her wary of human relationships. Santomasso's narration carries the story. -J.T. © AudioFile 2025 |

"PATRICIA SANTOMASSO MAXIMIZES TERROR"
*Starred Audiobook Review*
"Enhanced by the skillful work of narrator Patricia Santomasso, every aspect of this story maximizes tension and terror. When Santomasso speaks as Kit, her breathy whisper might be because Kit is either being strangled by her own anxiety or, perhaps, it’s Daphne’s bare hands."

-E.E.S. AudioFile 2025, Portland, Maine Narrator Patricia Santomasso taps into the quaint, cozy atmosphere and expertly brings Maggie, Violet, and the many inhabitants of Marlowe to life.
She excels in portraying the town busybodies and hopeful, determined Maggie, as she conveys the lightning-quick way that gossip, speculation, and misinformation electrify the community. VERDICT A fun, lighthearted listen, perfect for fans of gardening and cozy mysteries. This entertaining novel pairs well with Marty Eberhardt's Bones in the Back Forty. There’s something beautifully chaotic about the fact that Whitney Gardner’s contemporary YA novel Chaotic Good hits the shelves as late as it can to still be considered a 2019 release. With an alliterative logline that promises to send “cosplay, comic shops and college applications” colliding, it should be obvious that the major selling points of Chaotic Good is all about fun and entertainment. For an end-of-2019 listen, that’s exactly what we want. That narrator Patricia Santomasso is on hand to bring Cameron’s feminist killjoy cosplay world to life with a warm-but-tart performance is icing on the cake.

Patricia is simply a star. Turning Dangerous Odds into an audio book was not going to be an easy task. This true story is rife with thugs, Fed's, a few fugitives, and the occasional diplomat. There were accents that would be required; German, Spanish, East Coast, West Coast as well as a vast age difference in the main characters in the book. Patricia mastered every challenge and simply delivered an outstanding product. She brought the book to life with her rich, yet subtle portrayals while managing to sound like the young girl I was at the time. Aside from being a master storyteller, Patricia is professional, flexible and was simply a joy to work with.

Patricia Santomasso did an exceptional job narrating my novel The Far Journey. Like all the best narrators, among which she is most definitely one, she made it better. Her voice made Paula Master come alive, gave her the force, strength and emotion to carry the novel. She took the personalities and backgrounds of the other characters and used a different voice, tone, pitch, accent to distinguish them. A reader will have no difficulty recognizing who is speaking even without attributions Awesome voice acting. Patricia is easy to work with and very helpful. She knows what needs to be done to produce the best work possible. All of us know the importance of a to a top narrator/producer. I can only thank my lucky stars I found Patricia. I look forward to her narrating all my work.

Ms. Santomasso was fabulous to work with on the narration of my debut novel. She asked me questions about the small details of my story so that she could stay true to my vision. In my story, Patricia narrated the voices of several characters who have Down syndrome. She clearly studied their voices and treated them with respect and authenticity. I've heard many times that she was spot on in her portrayal. I was thrilled with both my end product and Ms. Santomasso's level of professionalism. I would love to work with her in the future.
